Volunteering

The Youth Source is currently looking for business professionals, educators, and qualified parents to serve as Board members, program advisers, and volunteers with our fund-raising committee.  We have several areas in which adult volunteers can add the kind of expertise we will need to move us forward.  Some of the skills we will need from time to time would include things like 

• basic carpentry/building skills to help with projects

• cooking skills to help at fund-raisers 

• tutors for our After School Program during the school year

• helping hands for our Summer Day Camp Program (making lunches, helping drive to various activities, etc.)

• helping teach classes in our KidPreneur Program, schedule to start in late 2013

• helping with set-up and decorating for the annual Night at The Cotton Club fund-raiser

The Youth Source hosts mandatory orientations for volunteers twice a year (September and February) or as needed.
